Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SportStream platform. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

2. Viewer purchases

Match passes and season passes grant access to specific streams for the stated period. Access is personal to you and must not be shared, resold or redistributed. Because access to a live or recorded stream is a digital service made available immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required by law or where a stream fails to be delivered due to our fault.

3. Clubs and broadcasting

If you register as a club, you are responsible for the content you broadcast. You confirm that you hold all necessary rights and permissions to stream your matches, including consent of participants where required, and that your content does not infringe any third-party rights or breach any law. You must not stream content you are not authorised to broadcast.

4. Revenue sharing and payouts

• Revenue from match and season pass sales is shared on a 50/50 basis between the club and SportStream.
• Payments received up to and including the 20th of a calendar month are paid out to the club by the end of that same month.
• Payouts are made to the bank details provided by the club. It is the club’s responsibility to keep these details accurate and up to date.
• Payout statuses (pending, processing, paid or failed) are shown in your club dashboard.
• We may withhold or delay payouts where we reasonably suspect fraud, chargebacks or a breach of these Terms.

5. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By making a purchase you also agree to Stripe’s terms. Prices are shown at the point of sale and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• record, copy, redistribute or publicly display streams without authorisation;
• circumvent access controls or share paid access with others;
• upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the platform.

7. Intellectual property

The SportStream platform, including its software, design and branding, is owned by us and protected by law. Clubs retain ownership of their own match content but grant us a licence to host, stream and promote that content on the platform for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the platform available and streams running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Live streams depend on third-party infrastructure and the broadcaster’s own connection, which may affect quality or availability.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Outstanding club payouts for legitimate sales will still be settled in line with section 4.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
